Arc Raiders: The Matriarch and the Battle for Spaceport A squad of Raiders is dispatched to the old Acerra Spaceport, but they become trapped in the A6 control tower by the Matriarch and her Arc children. The endless swarm of Rocketeers, Bastions, Leapers, Bombadiers and every other Arc the Matriarch can summon, keeps the Raiders under siege. It’s dark, wet, bleak as Raiders battle the Arc all throughout the night. If it’s not the Wasps, Hornets, and Fireballs killing Raiders, it’s the opportunistic loot and goop grabbing rats among the ranks. When all hope seems lost, 3 heroes emerge: Azimuth with his Snaphook and Deadline; Blindspot aiming down the sites of a Jupiter rifle and Driftcoat slowly marching towards victory with her Equalizer in lasering legs of the Matriarch. This tense adventure epic short film was inspired by hundreds of hours of Spaceport Matriarch raids, Helldivers 2, and the early James Cameron Terminator movies, particularly the future war scenes. In-game footage was recorded using AMD ReLive and the film was created using DaVinci Resolve 21 (free version). All music used in this production belongs to the original artists.
