Mini Mare Foals GIANT Baby (With Assistance)

Caleigh was a Mini Mare that came in to foal out for friends of ours. It was an 'accidental" breeding where a young colt impregnated a young mare without anyone knowing until the mare was rushed to the Atlantic Vet College for Colic and the pregnancy was detected - at this point, she was well along with her pregnancy, and terminating the pregnancy was not an option. Caleigh went into labor just before 930, and even though she tried really hard, she wasn't able to birth her foal without some assistance from the Foaling Team and Meadow Brook Stables. We luckily had lots of people around to assist (2 of whom were recently graduated vets), and we got the baby out safe and sound. Volume bumped up to be able to hear easier.
