Historian, broadcaster and author David Olusoga time on the island this time but before he embarks he talks to Lauren about his life. He talks about growing up in hostile environment and talks passionately of his mother who has been a power of strength to him growing up and a source of encouragement in terms of his education. David Olusoga also talks about his love of history and the people who inspired him. I have added some extra music with some video as well to illustrate David's narrative.
