Quand Vas Tu Rentrer ? - Melody's Echo Chamber (Keyboard Cover)

10 (and a bit) years since one of my favourite albums came out. Was inspired to make this as a result of the demo's coming out today! (My take panned hard right) Rather proud of this cover albeit I'm not the greatest keyboard player in the world! Hopefully will be able to put out a tutorial for this and yet another cover using this exact setup but on a different song.... I managed to get this close to the original by sampling the single note (A#) and loading it into logic's sampler. When cutting the note out it's important to get just the note itself rather than the subsequent delay repeats. Once you've done this and pitch mapped it to the keyboard you're half way there! Work out the delay repeats and boom, you have the exact keyboard melody had upon recording. I can't ever seem to get the delay repeats correct during the intro though as the way the logic sampler stretches is different to that of the one melody recorded with so they always came late. Thank you for reading and watching!
