One Sunflower, So Many Faces | Chasing the Sun Dance

Look inside the giant sunflower. Watch how the faces turn together. “Chasing the Sun” (《追太阳》) brings sunflower costumes, unfolding petals, and an entire group moving within one enormous flower to the stage. If Rabbit and Turtle Dance made you think about pressure and comparison, or Duckling Dance “Home” reminded you of acceptance and belonging, this Chinese dance offers another moment to recognize yourself in. DearTeacherLi adds a few quiet poetic questions about shared warmth and the people we turn toward when life feels cold. The dance carries the story; the words leave room for your own. Who feels like sunlight in your life? Performance title: 《追太阳》 — Chasing the Sun Event shown in the supplied title card: 12th “Little Lotus” National Children’s Dance Showcase. This edit opens with selected highlights before returning to the beginning. The overlays express DearTeacherLi’s personal interpretation of the choreography. #DearTeacherLi #SunflowerDance #ChasingTheSun
