Lesson 4: New Testament Prophets | Gift of Prophecy | SUMtv Sabbath School | Q4

In this week’s Sabbath School lesson, Lesson 4: “New Testament Prophets,” we continue our study of the Gift of Prophecy during the fourth quarter of 2026. In this lesson, we explore how the prophetic gift functioned in the New Testament and how God continued to guide, encourage, and strengthen His people through inspired messages. The New Testament shows that the prophetic ministry remained important in the life of the early Christian church. This Sabbath School Bible study invites us to examine the purpose of prophecy, its relationship to the mission and growth of the church, and the importance of remaining grounded in Scripture when evaluating spiritual messages and experiences. 💡 In this lesson, we explore: The role of prophets in the New Testament church How the gift of prophecy contributed to the guidance and edification of believers The relationship between prophecy, mission, and the life of the early church Why every spiritual message must be tested by the Word of God 💙 Support the mission of SUMtv!
