Join to get access to perks & support the program:    / @ilovemuzzleloading   A little background on production that we should have included, but couldn't find a way to do cleanly - This was not a scripted production, there were no re-takes or do-overs. I was invited to this event and worked to "embed" myself with a camera in the least-intrusive way I could as to not spoil the event for the historians who had worked so hard to be there. We knew going in these two "parties" where on the same land, but each group had independent goals and tasks for the time. Everything else played out based on our research of the time. This was shot on one camera with one mic, running and gunning, shooting what I could, hoping it would make something. I treated the event as if I was one of the militia members, but instead of a firelock, I had a camera. We ended the event with over 4 hours of film and worked to trim it down to the coolest parts and build a story. We have some supporting content coming soon that discusses the production and how it happened for those who are interested.
