aphex twin akai vx 600 "Super-rare analogue matrix polysynth with similarities to the Oberheim Xpander. Especially rare in this factory-original 220-240V format. Apart from the typical yellowing of the spacers either side of the keyboard, this is in beautiful physical condition - one of the nicest you could ever find. Some very interesting patches, like the one in the photo. The seller says 'very underrated synth, has unique custom chord mode and lovely analogue sound but also cuts thru the mix, very compact, very nicely made, might need a lamp above to see screen well, or get a new backlight fitted.' (As you can see in the photo, the display looks very clear to us - but emits the typical VX600 annoying whine, which could be remedied with an LED type replacement.) Packing 8GBP."
