28 December 1986 Commercial Breaks & Closedown – HTV West (ITV, Bristol)

Commercial breaks and closedown sequence—that's what the Brits call a sign-off—taken from the late-night movie presentation of "Flashdance" on ITV affiliate HTV West in Bristol, UK. I randomly came across this tape at a thrift store in Houston, Texas. After realizing that the tape was recorded in the European PAL standard, I bought a cheap (read: broken) Aiwa HV-MX100U multistandard VCR and used my vague TV/VCR repair skills to bring it back into somewhat working order.
