EASTERN TV CHARITY FOUNDATION LBG DONATES GH₵ 8,000 WORTH OF EDUCATIONAL ITEMS TO LESS PRIVILEGED & ORPHANS The Eastern TV Charity Foundation LBG is a charitable organization associated with Eastern TV in Ghana that focuses on community outreach, educational support, and social welfare. Key Activities and Initiatives Back to School Donations: The organization runs annual back-to-school donation drives (such as its 2nd Edition) to provide essential learning materials and supplies for students. Exam Support: They support candidates sitting for national exams, such as providing materials and assistance to BECE (Basic Education Certificate Examination) candidates in areas like the Obom-Domeabra and Upper West Akim constituencies. Support for the Aged: We provide food items, healthcare assistance, and companionship to the elderly in deprived communities to improve their well-being and make them feel loved and cared for. Widows Empowerment: We support widows through food donations, financial assistance, and skills training to help them become self-reliant. School Building & Renovation Projects: The foundation undertakes building and renovation of classroom blocks, libraries and toilet facilities to create better learning environments for children in rural areas. Provision of Social Amenities: We support communities with social amenities such as boreholes for clean water, health screening exercises, and community development projects.
