How It Started: Raw Footage of My First Ambient Yoga Performance

This 20-minute film is a raw glimpse into the very start of my journey playing ambient music live at yoga studios. Filmed in 2018, these are some of my earliest steps back into music after my stroke in 2016—a time when simply holding a guitar felt almost impossible. It’s not easy for me to watch myself here; in all honesty, I still struggle with seeing myself on video, even now. But I’m sharing this because I think it’s important to show the messy, uncertain beginnings. This is how it really started for me. If you’re just starting out—or coming back to something you love after a setback—I hope this reminds you that it’s okay to be imperfect, to be vulnerable, and to keep going.
