🇦🇺 The Cathedral - Sutherland/Sydney - Summer Crag

During summer time, the crags facing south are the best options if you want to hide from the sun. The Cathedral is a great crag for a summer day, with lots of shade, and probably the best rock quality around Sydney. Good for beginners, with many options including sport and trad climbing. Can be humid depending of the weather conditions, and some climbs take a couple of days to dry. Very beautiful place, near the Woronara River, with a dense vegetation. Some very good crack climbing here as well! Some are very famous, like Wacky Tabacci (18), which is a super fun chimney. Some cracks are bolted, something you don't see a lot, and can be a polemic discussion, but a great opportunity for those who want to try crack climbing, and don't want to use traditional protection.
