Now Closed - Rare cover! PHSWD Airforce at House of Fraser - Bluewater - ♿️

05.02.25: This store permanently closed back in November 2024, however I didn't realise until now. NEXT are expected to takeover this unit. Here we have a PHS Airforce, which has the rather rare black cover colour. Whilst the black cover is certainly more interesting than a white one, it doesn’t really go with the fairly light design of this toilet. A chrome or white cover would’ve fitted in much better. Something I noticed which editing this video is that the Airforce backplates were manufactured by Windsor, which means that all House of Fraser Airforces were mounted on Windsors! That isn’t the only type of Windsor here though - read on! The male toilets here had the rather interesting combo of an AIKE AK2800 branded as StreamHygiene Windsor, and a Xinda branded as Hydor. Both of these were still mounted on Airforce backplates which were also manufactured by Windsor, which means there’s a Windsor mounted on a Windsor here! I couldn’t exactly take a picture of the combo due to the positioning of the dryers, since the door was propped open, and DF didn’t cross my mind at that moment. Whilst I was preparing this video, I saw that ‪@mrhanddryer2159‬ had filmed a Xinda in the male toilets in February, and it’s stated in a reply that there were two Xindas in there, indicating that the Windsor was installed very recently. Given that the Xinda which HoF used is supposedly discontinued, could this mean that the Windsor is their new dryer choice? Given the StreamHygiene Richmond Porcelain joke which @Account Now Closed made a few months ago, it would be absolutely hilarious if it was. The new Frasers store in Norwich is due to open in just a month, so we will soon find out, provided that it has toilets of course. For some stupid reason, the baby changing room is placed on UM, when the rest of the toilets were placed on LM. I didn’t bother to hunt down the baby room, but thinking back, it could’ve been worth a look. This video was an absolute pain to blur, since my face was visible in so many places on the tap. I’ve not done it perfectly, but it’s not worth delaying the video over. I’ve never seen a House of Fraser store which plays music in the toilets before. A RADAR key is required to access this toilet, which is something I’ve never seen in House of Fraser before. The exterior occupancy indicator was detached from the locking mechanism.
