Long before the channel, McKenty was a zine kid in Washington and later Sergeant D of Stuff You Will Hate, a site built on mocking metal and hardcore fans. After a career in corporate marketing, he launched The Punk Rock MBA and struck gold with "How Did They Get So Big?"
