The Pilot Vanishing Point/Capless, Oaso, Writech, and the Jinhao 20. Your milage may vary with these pens. This is not a scientific approach, it's going to be dependent on ink, climate, and a range of factors, but I thought it would be interesting to just see what my results may be. And before anyone comments… yes, with pens like the Jinhao 10 and 20, you can apply silicone grease to the trap door to improve the seal, and it does help. But that’s not the point. This is a test of unaltered pens, showing what someone can expect if they buy one on AliExpress and start using it straight out of the box. I’m testing the design and execution of the sealing mechanism itself, and how well each brand has engineered it.
