On our recent trip to the Lake District, we ended up visiting the Lakeland Motor Museum near Windermere. Full disclaimer: I am absolutely not a car expert! But honestly, you really don’t need to know anything about engines or horsepower to enjoy this place. I just took my camera and went for a casual walk around. It’s got a really cool, nostalgic vibe with hundreds of classic cars, old-school motorbikes, and even these vintage shop displays that make you feel like you've stepped back in time. It was just a really relaxed vibe and fun to look at all the retro designs. If you are planning a UK trip or looking for things to do in the Lake District with the family—especially if the British weather acts up and it starts raining!—this is such a great indoor spot to chill for a couple of hours.
