FNHC 2026-2027 Webinar Series - #2 Indigenous Leadership in Emergency Management

This session will introduce the Incident Command System (ICS) Canada and NIFSC’s role as an Agency Authority Having Jurisdiction (AAHJ). Participants will explore NIFSC’s emergency management training program and how ICS can strengthen emergency response and coordination within their Nation. The session will also highlight the importance of Indigenous voices and perspectives in shaping emergency management systems and standards.
