French Broad River Paddling Section 9 in a PackRaft. Buckle Up!

I was invited to do the French Broad River Section 9 by the River Kings. When the River Kings call, you answer the phone and go. It came as a big surprise when River King Pete told me we'd be doing the river in Alpacka Packrafts. This promised to be an epic adventure doing Class I - Class IV rapids in a 5 lb packraft. I was jacked to say the least. French Broad River whitewater is a beast. I'm happy to say that River King Brian & River King Pete inducted me into Club 9 as an official member. This is an exclusive River King club that others can only dream about. We put in at Barnard River Park and our take out was Hot Springs NOC Access. This river run was about 8 miles long.
