Amtrak 510, F40 Cabbage, Plenty of Horn Shows, ALC42, K5LA on BNSF, & MORE Along the San Diego Sub!

Well well well... AMTK 510 can't stay put away, can it! Well, we won't complain. It was on the north end of a set and lead Pacific Surfliner 587. I also caught some BNSF switching action at Barrio Logan. The leader was BNSF 7884 with a great K5LA horn. There was also a trailing ALC42, AMTK 363, doing a test trip down to San Diego and back to LA. It's always great to see the F40 cabbages pulling Surfliner trains down in SoCal. It's always a trip to see them since they've ran (and still belong) on the San Joaquins/Gold Runner service. AMTK 90225 lead a northbound Surfliner 579 and I caught it through Leucadia.
