Renault has launched the Triber with a new 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 100 PS and 160 Nm of torque. This makes it the most affordable turbo-petrol MPV in the Indian market. The new Triber Turbo comes with a 6-speed manual transmission and delivers a claimed mileage of 21 kmpl. Renault claims a 0–100 kmph acceleration time of 10.52 seconds. The Triber Turbo is available in three variants and is currently offered with a manual gearbox only. A CVT automatic transmission is expected to be introduced at a later stage.
