The Attack Collapsed Fast | Road to 1500 | Ep. 26

In Episode 26 of my Road to 1500 series, I try to launch an aggressive kingside attack after castling long, but my opponent stays calm and strikes back at exactly the right moment. After pushing my g- and h-pawns to generate pressure, Black counters in the center and on the queenside. I keep searching for attacking chances while the clock ticks down, but a dangerous passed c-pawn and active queen eventually break through. The game ends with a clean back-rank mating pattern that I never managed to stop.
