Episode 159 Namaste, I am Pooja and Welcome to a अळंबीची बिर्याणी व शाकुती | Wild mushroom fry & stir fry | Village Cooking | Red Soil Stories ‪@RedSoilStories‬ 🌧️🍄 Wild Mushroom Special | Monsoon Flavors from Konkan 🍄🌿 The monsoon season and wild mushrooms share a very special bond in the Konkan region. When sunshine and rainfall come together in perfect balance, forests across Konkan are blessed with a variety of wild mushrooms. Among them, the famous termite mound mushrooms are especially loved by locals. 🌄 On a beautiful monsoon morning, I ventured into the forest in search of wild mushrooms. To my delight, I managed to gather nearly 200–250 mushroom buds. After returning home, I prepared a traditional Goan delicacy – Mushroom Xacuti (xacuti ) – rich in aromatic spices and authentic flavors. Alongside it, I also made crispy and delicious Mushroom Rava Fry. 😋 🍳 The next day, I used freshly collected Brown Mushrooms to prepare a simple yet flavorful Mushroom Stir Fry. Enjoying it with soft Ghavan (traditional rice pancakes) made the meal truly special. 🍛 To complete this mushroom feast, I cooked a hearty Mushroom Biryani.
