Half Up Sectioned Braid Preschool Hairstyle

I love the look of this half up sectioned braid, it's an awesome preschool hairstyle! It sort of looks like our faux dutch braid that we did a few weeks ago, but can be done with hair of all lengths. If you have a toddler that has short or thin hair, make your first section bigger than the rest so that you have more hair for the braid! Step by step tutorial: 1. Part out a middle section in the hair. You are going to leave a little bit of hair down on both sides and part it back to the crown. 2. With this front section, part 1-2" sections at a diagonal until you have 4 sections. 3. Comb down sections 2 and 3 and connect them to section 4. 4. Create a 3 strand braid with section 1 and then connect it to section 3. 5. Pancake out your braid, or pull at the edges to make it look fuller. It will also help cover sections 2 and 3!
