The developer has completely modernized this release with a brand new engine and next-gen graphics that look visually stunning. Rayman Legends Retold pays a fantastic homage to the magic of the original while sparking a fascinating debate between 2D nostalgia and 3D dynamism. Driven by dynamic momentum that rivals classics like Super Mario and Donkey Kong, this updated release proves once again that Rayman remains the undisputed king of modern platformers. While swapping out the hand-drawn look trades away a bit of the original 2D charm, the graphical refinement looks stunning, particularly in the spy-thriller world inspired by Splinter Cell and James Bond films, which looks sleek and remarkably vibrant on modern displays. Amazing Soundtrack: The game's music has been expanded with 55 minutes of brand new music. Original composer Christophe Héral returned to compose the score alongside Grant Kirkhope, famous for his musical work on the Banjo-Kazooie and Mario + Rabbids series.
