After the incident, family members gathered for a public demonstration at Bannu Kohat Road to express their concerns, which caused temporary suspension of traffic. Family members stated that the deceased was the sole breadwinner of his family with small children and appealed for financial assistance package for the family. Police have registered a case under relevant laws and started further investigation to identify those involved. In another separate incident on CPEC Road near Bismillah Hotel Bannu, a 53-year-old individual, Mushkalam Khan s/o Ana Gul Khan, r/o Tori Khel Razmak, was affected in a firing incident and was shifted by Rescue 1122 to DHQ Hospital Bannu. 2. Peshawar Private School Incident - Collective Funeral: The collective funeral prayers for those who were affected in the private school building structure incident in Dir Colony Peshawar were offered. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi also attended the funeral and announced compensation of Rs. 10 Lakh for families of those who lost their lives and Rs. 2 Lakh for those who received medical assistance. 3. South Waziristan, Bajaur, Tank and Other Districts: In South Waziristan Lower, Tui Khullah area, reports were received that during an ongoing security operation against miscreants, firing and mortar rounds affected the civil population. According to reports, four members of the same family of Suleman Khel tribe were affected, including children, while three others received medical assistance and were shifted to hospital. In Bajaur, Mamund area, a tribal elder Malik Ikram was affected in a firing incident. In South Waziristan Upper, former SHO Sararogha Sub-Inspector Niaz Muhammad was affected in a firing incident near Dabrah area of District Tank, along with another individual. In Tank Umar Adda area, reports were received of an incident involving a security forces vehicle while it was shifting an injured personnel from Zam Post for medical assistance. 4. Swat - Security Forces Action: In Swat, CTD and Police conducted a joint intelligence-based operation in Sakhra Dobb area, limits of Police Station Kanju. According to CTD, during the operation, three individuals affiliated with a proscribed group were neutralized after an exchange, while two others managed to escape. 5. Nowshera - Police Official Targeted: In Nowshera, near Sheedo on Main GT Road , a police official Zahir Alam, r/o Adamzai, who was returning home from duty, was affected in a targeted firing incident. 6. Political Situation: Suspended Chief Minister Sohail Afridi remains under custody, while Speaker KP Assembly Babar Saleem Swati and PTI Provincial President Junaid Akbar are still not traceable as per family sources. Constitutional petitions are already filed in Peshawar High Court.
