“We’re Different, We’re the Same” by Bobbi Jane Kates, illustrated by Joe Mathieu

This book from Sesame Street is a powerful look at the many ways people are both different AND the same! As we’ve been studying the human body and how it works, “We’re Different, We’re the Same,” by Bobbi Jane Kates and illustrated by Joe Mathieu, reminds us that it’s the similarities amongst us that create a shared humanity, and it’s the differences that makes our world and the human race so fascinating and beautiful! To continue the learning, help your child look closely and compare their features with other people at home. What similarities can they find? What differences? Celebrate it all!
