Outline of the Lecture: • Establish concept of convection between two large parallel plates • Derive basic state and disturbed state equations with necessary boundary conditions • Use normal mode stability analysis and discuss about temporal and spatial stability • Discuss about critical Rayleigh number and neutral stability
