Bhandardara Bhandardara is a beautiful hill destination in the Sahyadri mountain range, famous for its scenic lakes, green hills, waterfalls, and peaceful atmosphere. During the monsoon, the entire region transforms into a lush green paradise, making it a wonderful destination for nature lovers and bike travellers. Arthur Lake and the surrounding mountain views are among its highlights. 🏞️ 2. Sandhan Valley – The Valley of Shadows Sandhan Valley is a spectacular rock canyon near Samrad village in Maharashtra's Sahyadri range. Known for its towering rock walls, narrow passages, and dramatic natural formations, it is a popular destination for trekking and adventure enthusiasts. The monsoon adds a beautiful atmosphere to the surrounding landscape, though canyon trekking requires extra caution because of slippery rocks and sudden water flow. ⛰️ 3. Kalsubai Peak – Maharashtra's Highest Peak Standing at approximately 1,646 metres (5,400 feet) above sea level, Kalsubai is the highest peak in Maharashtra. Located in the Western Ghats, it attracts trekkers with its mountain views, challenging trails, ladders, and the temple at the summit.
