After narcissistic abuse or emotional manipulation, setting a boundary can feel frightening. You may have learned that saying no could lead to anger, guilt-tripping, rejection, the silent treatment or some form of punishment. Perhaps it became easier to agree, overexplain yourself or continually put another person’s needs before your own—just to avoid their reaction. This gentle EFT tapping session is for acknowledging the fear and guilt that can arise around setting boundaries. A boundary doesn’t always require confrontation or a big announcement. It can begin quietly by pausing before responding, choosing what you share, ending a conversation or deciding how much access someone has to your time and energy. You can care about another person’s feelings without becoming responsible for them. You can be kind and still have boundaries. Please tap only on the points that feel comfortable for you. You can pause or stop at any time. If setting a boundary could place you in danger, please prioritise practical safety and appropriate professional support.
