Ravenous (1999) | Episode 17

🍖 You are who you eat. And in Ravenous (1999), that's a whole lot more than a figure of speech. This week on Friday Night Rewind, Jason (SKJ) and Scott (SKS) sink their teeth into one of the most bizarre, deliciously twisted, and criminally underrated horror films of the '90s! Starring Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle, Ravenous takes us to a remote military outpost in the 1840s, where a mysterious stranger, a chilling legend, and an appetite for human flesh turn an already strange situation into an absolute nightmare. Part horror, part Western, part pitch-black comedy, Ravenous is a movie that refuses to fit neatly into any genre. With its unforgettable performances, wildly unconventional soundtrack, and wicked sense of humor, it's a cult favorite that deserves a much bigger audience. So pull up a chair, bring your appetite, and join the Two Short Kings for a feast of movie conversation. Just maybe don't ask what's for dinner. 🩸🍽️ 🎬 Friday Night Rewind 👑 Two Short Kings.
