Orchard Kids // Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralyzed Man// Based on Mark 2:1-12

This week we will take a look at one of the many miracles Jesus performed while He was on Earth. Four men heard Jesus was in town preaching and they wanted Him to heal their friend who was paralyzed. The house was so crowded with people listening to Jesus that the four men had to get creative. So, they carried their friend up on the roof, dug a hole, and then lowered him down on a mat right in front of Jesus! These men had faith in Jesus and they believed that He had the power to heal their friend. Jesus has the power and authority to do anything because He is God's son. Jesus not only healed the man but he forgave him of His sins. This lesson is a great reminder that God sent His son, Jesus, down to earth from Heaven so that we also could have complete forgiveness of our sins just like the paralyzed man. Jesus offers forgiveness to all of us who come to Him!
