Uncovering Lost History... Skyrim's "Forbidden Legend" | Quest, Lore, Theories, Explained!

In today's video, I wanted to play through the quest, Forbidden Legend, featured in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It begins with the Dragonborn coming across a copy of the book "Lost Legends". The text covers the tale of Gauldur and his sons: Mikrul, Sigids, and Jyrik. The only thing though is that the tale is full of conjecture, assumptions and half truths. Whatever happened all those years ago, King Harald wanted it scratched from the history books. Travelling to the only named location "Folgunthur", the player stumbles onto the true story of Archmage Gauldur, the Gauldursons and the Gauldur Amulet. From there, it's up to the Dragonborn to recover the 3 amulet fragments that are hidden around Skyrim, and to reforge the amulet for its untapped power.
