The journey continues. This time, I'm heading home from Salerno — but taking a different route. Instead of the motorway, I follow the coast, with the sea beside the road. Then I turn inland, leaving the shoreline behind for the quieter countryside of Southern Italy. Greenhouses, open fields, trees and peaceful rural roads replace the busy traffic. And just when the journey feels completely rural, the road unexpectedly leads me back toward the city. A 20-minute drive through changing landscapes — from the sea to the countryside and back to familiar streets.
