Elektra 1962 (and That Other Trojan War Movie) - the Obsessive Goes to the Movies (Ep 153)

Michael Cacoyannis' masterpiece, IMHO, shows the aftermath of the Trojan War, with heroes returning to nightmarish tragedy back home. With a lot of thoughts about Carl Jung, Sophocles, Cacoyannis' other films, Greek mythology in the movies, Finnegans Wake, and inevitably how this movie accomplishes some of what Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" attempted.
