Læsø Marathon - 19th September 2026

Following a short rest period after our 100 mile adventure we were back to training for the Læsø Marathon. Læsø is an island off the north east coast of Denmark and visible from Caren and Morten's summer house. The run starts from the car deck of the ferry when the ramp comes down. The route goes most of the way around the island running on beaches, trails, sand dunes, forest 'paths' and roads. This is a really unique experience from start to finish. Jon and Morten were taking on the full marathon, Morten's first run at this distance.
