Sentinel-class Landing Craft | All Appearances

The underused workhorse of the Imperial Navy, I find the Sentinel-class' lack of use in other Star Wars media, aside from Rebels, to be quite strange. The majority of Star Wars media employs the use of Lambda-class shuttles as troop transports, despite them seeming more like a rich politician's personal ship. I find it strange it showed up again in Outlaws, of all things. That being said, I'm curious as to why, in 1997, George Lucas wanted the inclusion of a troop transport variant of the Lambda-class in the background of Episode IV in the first place.
