QADIANI ISSUE: AUTHORITIES CLARIFY RAID DID NOT INVOLVE KAMPUNG NAKHODA MOSQUE Malaysia Immigration Department (JIM) clarified that the 17 October 2026 operation in Kampung Nakhoda and Kampung Laksmana did NOT involve Kampung Nakhoda Mosque. Authorities inspected two premises reportedly used as religious centres by foreign nationals, while six foreign nationals were detained for further investigation, including checks on their immigration status and length of stay in Malaysia. The mosque chairman also confirmed that no religious activities related to the case took place at Kampung Nakhoda Mosque.
