Deltarune - Chapter 7B: MEGALO STRIKE BACK (Vs. Kris) [V2]

Hello everyone. Today I bring you V2 of my Megalo Strike Back cover. And, I think it's the best showcase of how much skill I've gained in those short 10 months. I'm sure someone disagrees with that, though. Such is the nature of art. I am insanely proud of this song. And I'm happy I'm proud, because I've spent 8 months working on it. I planned on releasing this before the release of Chapter 5. Like, way before the release. But I'm really glad I didn't, because I didn't make the most of the good changes until last month. If I released it any earlier, it would've just been a slightly better version of V1 without many changes. I had one single goal when making this version: try to take hatred and translate it into music form. Every ounce of this song has been designed from the beginning to bleed hatred. If there is one thing I wanted the listener to remember after finishing the song, it was that Kris HATES you. They hate you so, so much that the song itself struggles to keep up with it (the piano player rage-quitting playing Glaceir in the intro, for instance). Hate, hate, hate. You get the point. So, the weird route. Or, I guess we're calling it Side B now. Chapter 5 kinda proved my description right in Susie Megalovania V4. I predicted that Chapter 5 would kill Susie Megalovania as an idea. And it did. I thought it would be because she would get a different song, but no. Any form of a Susie fight is, uh, dead in the water post Chapter 5 WR. If Kris and Noelle aren't dead, there's no way Susie will be able to follow them to wherever they're going. I still think she'll probably get a fight in the normal route, but it certainly won't use Megalovania. But a Kris fight? Now, that is very, very possible. So possible that I am actually convinced Kris will be the final boss of the Weird Route. Hence the song you're listening to. FAQ: Q: Can I use your song for (insert reason here)? A: You can use any and all of my songs so long as credit is clearly given to me (not barely shoved at the very bottom of the description, for instance). A: Unless the whole system changes, no. Right now, I'd have to get in contact with a distributor to post stuff to Spotify. Not only does that usually mean I have to pay them, but I would also be put into the copyright system. Even ignoring the fact that most of my songs are covers and I probably wouldn't be allowed to post them (all the covers you see on Spotify have been approved), I don't want to be in the copyright system.
