Great Elk - Missed Connections - Official Lyric Video

Great Elk singer Paul Basile performing the lyrics to "Missed Connections" while taking his dogs on a walk through the tundra in Bethel, Alaska. Do you remember? We were nearly together We almost found common ground That December When the weather Started to turn cold Bend a little over my way And I will try to do the same The only path runs right between us Where the cold abates and the darkness fades to light Love was wasted Or mistranslated That train slipped right past this town Empty seated Unimpeded I think we missed our ticket out Bend a little over my way And I will try to do the same The only path runs right between us Where the cold abates and the darkness fades to light Bend a little over my way And I will try to do the same The only path runs right between us I hope the day may come again We learn to let the sunlight in We learn to live and let live We all could do a bit better than we did Credits: Released September 15, 2026 Recorded by D.
