The excellent Antonio Boyer sings the monologue in Italian (Rome 1970, private live recording). ~~~ Boyer was born in 1933, studied with Sardero in Rome, debut in 1957. His best roles: Amonasro, Scarpia, Escamillo, Holländer. He had a fantastic voice and wonderfully balanced registers. ~~~ I would like to thank my friend Francois for the picture.
