Gwent | Nilfgaard | Enslave 6 Ivo Midrange feat. Vilgefortz: Renegade

Pajabol's Enslave 6 Ivo list is one of the solid options to pick for Nilfgaard in Gwent February patch 2025. I used it for my climb to 2500 fMMR. You can check out original vod here:    • Renegade + Ivo = EZ MMR 😎  . For the most part, the list is a standard Ivo Enslave 6 netdeck you may know from past seasons. The spicy part is replacing Ramon Tyrconnel with Vilgefortz: Renegade. If you think about it, Renegade is justified in this particular deck because the value of replaced card is often quite low. Getting rid of 4 points Tourney Joust or bricked Experimental Remedy is much lower baseline than in decks where worst bronze plays for 8 points. Such situations would happen often when Battle Stations and Magne Divisions are in play. How to play this deck? Ivo lists used to contest R1 hard to get last say for Ivo. Here though R1 contest is a big question mark when it comes to draws. Having two Sergeants, two Remedies, generally weak tactics unless played via Magne (+Slave Driver) and Vilge: Renegade without good targets, giving up R1 while saving resources is often the only reasonable option. You need to assess chances to win R1 by yourself every time. The deck is generally pointslam and outside Ivo there is no stable high ceiling cards (Renegade is situational). Nevertheless, for some reason ladder players would push hard this deck in R2 and likely lose card advantage to Battle Stations into Sergeants for nothing in return. That's how usually my games were won. Two showcased games were real bangers with chat doubting in win after R1. Deck is a tough cookie though and Vilge: Renegade can do magic tricks...
