I took the train from Los Angeles to San Diego Comic Con

This year, I was able to get a professional badge into San Diego Comic Con! I had never attended the event before, but I'd heard so many stories about how crowded it gets. Living in Los Angeles, I REALLY didn't want to drive down that weekend knowing that I'd be dealing with so much traffic on the drive down. Instead, I decided to take the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner from the Glendale stop to the Santa Fe Depot in San Diego. The trip was about 4 hours long, but at least it meant I didn't have to sit in traffic! Instead, I ate a lunch, looked out the window at the beautiful blue ocean, and watched the Ultimatum. It was a fairly painless experience and I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't on a time crunch. Have you ever taken the Amtrak from LA to SD?
