Few tracks reward bravery like this one. At 4.255 km with just twelve corners, the Salzburgring is all about high-speed commitment: a tight chicane right after the pit straight, then a flat-out charge into the seemingly never-ending right-hander that sweeps along the back of the valley. Slipstreaming is king here, and qualifying gaps are routinely measured in hundredths. The title fight arrives finely poised. After a dramatic season opener at the Red Bull Ring, Maffi Racing's David Walther leads the standings on 66 points — but Swiss powerhouse Jenzer Motorsport has the numbers, locking out second through fifth with Elia Weiss, Max Karhan, Teo Borenstein and Georgiy Zasov all within striking distance. With a field of over 40 cars, every session counts, and the group-split format means Race 1 brings Groups A and B together for the first wheel-to-wheel showdown of the weekend. The depth of talent runs right through the grid.
