Things Got Serious in the Practice Pen | Between the 8

The Carolina Cowboys are back together in North Carolina. With the Cowboys' home event in Greensboro just days away, almost the entire team met at Jerome and Tiffany Davis' place for their first practice pen of the week — and it turned into one of those nights where the energy just kept building. Kaleb Lewis started things off with a strong ride away from his hand. Ezekiel Mitchell followed with a huge ride on a bull that's notoriously difficult just to get out of the chute on, and the entire team started coming alive. Then things got interesting. As Adriano Salgado was putting a rope on one of the hardest bulls in the pen, Jerome asked who was getting on him. Robson Palermo's answer: Guilherme Valleiras. Jerome wasn't convinced. With the home event only days away and injuries already affecting the team, putting one of Carolina's hottest riders on a bull that rank didn't exactly seem necessary. But Guilherme knew exactly what he wanted. Robson asked him again. Guilherme just nodded. Then he nodded his head in the chute and made a bull ride that would've looked right at home under the bright lights — firing up everybody in the pen. Thiago and Adriano Salgado followed with big rides of their own, Keyshawn Whitehorse arrived after flying into North Carolina, and for the first time this week, it felt like the Carolina Cowboys were back together.
