In Episode 50 of our Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Career Mode: Zero to Hero Journey, we finally unlock Heavy Cargo Operations and fly our very first Golden Mission using the massive Airbus A330-300 P2F Freighter. After the release of Sim Update Five, Microsoft promised major fixes to Career Mode, ATC, avionics, and overall simulator stability… so today we put all of that to the test during a challenging heavy cargo flight from Liverpool, England to Marseille, France. What happened instead? Broken ATC handoffs, descent chaos, missed approaches, communication bugs, speed warnings, controller issues, and one of the most frustrating landings we’ve had in Career Mode so far. But despite all the bugs, we officially unlocked Heavy Cargo Missions and got one step closer to owning our own widebody freighter fleet!
