Advancing Spark - First Look at Unity Catalog

We've been hearing lots about Unity Catalog, the Databricks cross-workspace governance solution, but many of us haven't seen it in action... until now! In this video, Simon takes Unity Catalog for a spin, talking around the purpose of the tool, before walking through a quick demo of what it's like working with a UC-enabled workspace. We're just scratching the surface of the catalog itself, but it's already easy to see how it improves cross-workspace collaboration, and there's plenty more videos to come! Unity Catalog is currently in gated public preview - find out more information here: https://databricks.com/product/unity-... As always, if Advancing Analytics can help you on your lakehouse journey, don't hesitate to get in touch!
