Miss Indian World Showed Love at Apache Gold Pow Wow 🫶 (And I Missed Capturing It! 😳)

Hello! Aaron Tsosie here, the person behind the camera! I really wish I had booked a cheap hotel in Globe, AZ. Saturday's Pow Wow ended at midnight, and driving two hours home, only to turn around and drive another two hours back in the morning, was exhausting. That lost time pushed my video uploads back-I usually try to post the next morning, but this time, it took me a few days. That said, Sunday's Apache Gold Pow Wow was amazing! I felt more relaxed, took more photos, and captured some great shots. I also livestreamed parts of the event on TikTok, using the casino's surprisingly solid WiFi! Overall, I'd give this Pow Wow a 10/10-fantastic experience! I understand why they don't start on Friday, as it gives travelers more time to arrive, but it does put a lot of pressure on Saturday night, stretching it out until midnight (last year, we went until 2am). MC Ruben Littlehead did an incredible job keeping us entertained while making sure everything flowed smoothly. His deep knowledge of the dancers, singers, and traditions really added to the experience. I hope he returns next year! For anyone considering attending next year: The casino hotel is an option, but if you're looking to save some money, there are plenty of budget-friendly hotels just 10 minutes away in Globe, AZ. Next time, I might stay at a Motel 6 just to get reliable WiFi for faster uploads! Thanks for watching! Both full-day videos are now up on YouTube.
