Two buildings. Two outcomes. One question: Does justice work differently for the powerful and the ordinary in Pakistan? In 2021, Nasla Tower in Karachi was demolished, leaving around 40 middle-class families homeless. Years later, many are still waiting for compensation. Meanwhile, One Constitution Avenue in Islamabad, originally approved as a five-star hotel, was converted into a luxury apartment complex involving influential figures. Following a JIT investigation, the government has announced refunds with profit for affected buyers, while plans are underway to convert the building back into a five-star hotel. The contrasting outcomes have raised serious questions about alleged irregularities, the bidding process, the role of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and accountability. Why have Nasla Tower residents not received similar financial protection? Why have these two cases been handled so differently? In tonight's episode of On My Radar, Kamran Khan, along with esteemed guests and experts, examines the judicial decisions, JIT findings and wider implications of both cases for accountability, property rights, investment and the rule of law in Pakistan. Two buildings. Two outcomes. One system of justice. #nukta #nuktapakistan #onmyradar #omr #kamrankhan #naslatower #constitutionavenue #islamabad #mohsinnaqvi Follow us on: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?...
