The journey continues! Still on the road with my buddy Miguel, we’re pushing deeper into the heart of Colombia. Our day starts under grey skies and heavy rain in La Ceja, but a little water won’t stop us. We make our way through the iconic landscape of Guatapé, catching a glimpse of the massive El Peñol rock before hitting the road towards Puerto Nare. After some initial pavement, we finally reach what we’re here for: a stunning, lush dirt road cutting right through the jungle. Of course, the tropical rain catches up with us again, forcing a quick break under a roadside roof. The downpour transforms the trail into a slippery, muddy challenge—a total "Mud Desaster"—but that’s exactly the adventure we were looking for! We slip and slide our way through the jungle until we reach the banks of the mighty Rio Magdalena in Puerto Nare. What a ride! In Colombia, it’s never boring.
