How a Genre Died Before it Began | The Tragedy of Teenage Wrist and New Grunge

A genre of music tends to get given the spotlight more than once over the course of it's existence. That's why I was curious why Grunge never had it's revival, and why a band I thought would pioneer that revival, Teenage Wrist, did not succeed in that venture. This ultimately, in my opinion, is how it all ended in tragedy and the genre died before it even began. This video focuses mainly on Teenage Wrist and their effect on what I would call "New Grunge".
